Overall, I liked the new art style. The music and animation are done beautifully. The involvement of new content and drama is also a plus, rather than recycling the same old Diaspro melodrama. Although it's a completely different product from its predecessors, the World of Winx has brought a new light to the franchise making it a thousand times better and enjoyable to watch. Bravo Rainbow. See more 11/08/2016 World of winx was a hit or miss for me, having seen the first 3 seasons as a kid i was in love with the characters but for the past few seasons winx has really lost its character. I thought that the netflix show could revive winx to what it was. In some ways it did and in other ways it didn't. The show tried to appeal to age audiences that are way too large, i would say from 7- 14 years. This didn't work and for the older audiences the show seemed too mild and lack lustful. The stroyline was not terrible but it could have been better, it was basic and the show seemed repetitive and the only thing that really captivated me was the Annabelle ark. So why the 2 1/2 stars? Despite it's flaws it has come leaps and bounds from season seven creating much better characters with unique traits. Still 2 dimensional but not horrible and the animation was just gorgeous; especially if you are watching in 1080p. Overall i would say if you were a fan of the series its worth a watch but dont force yourself through the entire thing thinking it will pick up that much because it doesn't See more Read all reviews
