Bedrich Smetana brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Early in his entertainment career, Smetana's music was featured in "Hoer, Var Der Ikke En, Som Lo?" (1978), "The Bartered Bride" (PBS, 1978-79) and the documentary "High Fidelity - The Adventures of the Guarneri String Quartet" (1989) with Guarneri String Quartet. Smetana was also credited in "Romero" (1989), "Sneakers" (1992) starring Robert Redford and "The People vs. Larry Flynt" (1996). He also worked on "Kolya" (1997) and "Man on the Moon" (1999) starring Jim Carrey. Smetana's music was most recently featured in the Amber Tamblyn dramedy "Growing Up & Other Lies" (2015). Smetana passed away in May 1884 at the age of 60.
