Bill Cross was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Cross started his acting career landing roles in such films as the Jesse Vint drama "Black Oak Conspiracy" (1976), the Joe Don Baker action movie "Crash" (1978) and "Who'll Stop the Rain?" (1978) with Nick Nolte. He also appeared in "Partners" (1982) and the Nick Nolte action flick "48 HRS." (1982). In the eighties, Cross devoted his time to various credits, such as "Down and Out in Beverly Hills" (1986) starring Nick Nolte, "Near Dark" (1987) starring Adrian Pasdar and "Hawken's Breed" with Peter Fonda (1989). He also worked on "Three Fugitives" (1989). Recently, he continued to act in "Blue Chips" (1994), the crime flick "Sugartime" (1995) with John Turturro and the Ray Liotta action film "Turbulence" (1997). He also appeared in the crime drama "Ed Gein" (2001) with Steve Railsback. Most recently, Cross worked on the mystery thriller "Frailty" (2002) with Bill Paxton.
