Blane Savage has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout his acting career. In the beginning of his acting career, Savage starred in comedies like "The Last Married Couple in America" (1979) starring George Segal. He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "Mae West" (ABC, 1981-82) and "Hotline" (CBS, 1982-83). His film career continued throughout the eighties in productions like "To Be or Not to Be" (1983) with Mel Brooks and the Michael Douglas dramatic adaptation "A Chorus Line" (1985). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Perry Mason: The Case of the Musical Murder" (NBC, 1988-89). In the eighties and the nineties, Savage lent his talents to projects like "The 1989 Miss Universe Pageant" (CBS, 1988-89), "Bob Hope's Bag Full of Christmas Memories" (NBC, 1993-94) and "Dracula: Dead and Loving It" (1995) starring Leslie Nielsen. Most recently, Savage acted in the Trace Adkins comedy "An American Carol" (2008).
