Ernesto Hernandez was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. Hernandez kickstarted his acting career in comedies like the Richard Pryor film "Which Way Is Up?" (1977) and "Born in East L.A." (1987) with Cheech Marin and Daniel Stern. He also appeared in the TV movie "Girls of the White Orchid" (NBC, 1983-84). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Beverly Hills 90210" (Fox, 1990-2000). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Drug Wars: The Cocaine Cartel" (1991-92). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "State of Emergency" (HBO, 1993-94). During these years, he additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in the Michael Madsen thriller "Dead Connection" (1994). Hernandez had a number of different projects under his belt in the nineties and the early 2000s, including "Her Married Lover" (Lifetime, 1999-2000), "Price of Glory" with Jimmy Smits (2000) and "Lady Jayne: Killer" (2003) starring Julie du Page. His credits also expanded to "Dark Matter" (2008). Most recently, Hernandez worked on the Ashton Kutcher comedy "Spread" (2009).
