      Harry Lewis was an actor with a strong presence in film throughout his Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Lewis landed roles in various films, including "Always in My Heart" (1942), "Winged Victory" (1944) and "Her Kind of Man" (1946) with Dane Clark. He also appeared in the Claude Rains suspenseful mystery "The Unsuspected" (1947). He kept working in film throughout the forties and the fifties, starring in the Humphrey Bogart crime drama "Key Largo" (1948), the Johnny Sheffield adventure "Bomba on Panther Island" (1949) and "Gun Crazy" (1949). He also appeared in the comedy "Blonde Dynamite" (1950) with Leo Gorcey. Nearing the end of his career, he tackled roles in "The Fat Man" (1951) with J Scott Smart and the crime flick "Pendulum" (1969) with George Peppard. He also had a part in the TV miniseries "John Steinbeck's "East of Eden"" (1980-81). Lewis last appeared on "Bullets Over Hollywood" (Starz, 2005-06). Lewis passed away in June 2013 at the age of 93.
