Helena Phillips was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1901, she made her Broadway debut. In 1921, she made her screen debut in "My Lady's Latchkey." In 1938, she played Mrs. Crosby in "My Bill." Phillips began her career with a role in the William Powell mystery "The Greene Murder Case" (1929). Phillips began to focus on film after appearing in the Gary Cooper dramatic adaptation "Design For Living" (1933). Later in her career, Phillips acted in "The King's Vacation" (1933) with George Arliss. Phillips passed away in July 1955 at the age of 80.
