Joan Long worked on a variety of projects during her entertainment career. Long worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Caddie" (1976) starring Helen Morse and "The Picture Show Man" (1976). Later, she produced the drama "Puberty Blues" (1981) with Nell Schofield, the romance "Silver City" (1984) with Gosia Dobrowolska and the comedy adaptation "Emerald City" (1989) with John Hargreaves. Later in her career, Long worked on "The Dangerous" (HBO, 1994-95).
