Joe Gladwin was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Gladwin's career beginnings included film roles in the dramatic adaptation "A Kind of Loving" (1962) with Alan Bates, the Albert Finney suspenseful adaptation "Night Must Fall" (1964) and the Albert Finney dramatic comedy "Charlie Bubbles" (1967). He then acted in "The Reckoning" (1969) with Nicol Williamson, the drama "The Mind of Mr. Soames" (1970) with Terence Stamp and "Last of the Summer Wine" (PBS, 1972-2005). He also appeared in "Escape From The Dark" (1976). Later in his career, Gladwin acted in the romance "Yanks" (1979) with Richard Gere. Gladwin passed away in March 1987 at the age of 81.
