John Dee rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. John Dee began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the Jack Palance sci-fi fantasy "Welcome to Blood City" (1977), the Jack Lemmon dramatic adaptation "Tribute" (1980) and the Bobby Gould drama "The Deception of Benjamin Steiner" (1982). He also appeared in the TV movie "Mom, the Wolfman and Me" (1980-81). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties, appearing in the Diane Keaton dramatic period piece "Mrs. Soffel" (1984), the Elisabeth Shue comedy adventure "Adventures in Babysitting" (1987) and the Vernon Wells action movie "Circleman" (1988). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Bay Coven" (NBC, 1987). In the latter half of his career, he continued to act in the action film "City of Shadows" (1988) with Paul Coufos and the comedic adaptation "Switching Channels" (1988) with Kathleen Turner. John Dee was most recently credited in "Time Warp Trio" (Discovery Family, 2004-05). John Dee passed away in March 1994 at the age of 81.
