      Leigh Lawson has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout his acting career. Lawson started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Brother Sun, Sister Moon" (1972) with Graham Faulkner, "The Tiger Lily" (1975) and the drama "The Devil's Advocate" (1977) with John Mills. He also appeared in the thriller "Golden Rendezvous" (1977) with Richard Harris, "It's Not the Size That Counts" (1979) and the John Collin dramatic adaptation "Tess" (1980). He kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in the Christoph Waltz musical drama "Tristan Und Isolde" (1981), "Sword of the Valiant - The Legend of Gawain and the Green Knight" (1984) and the Shirley MacLaine drama "Madame Sousatzka" (1988). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Lace" (1983-84). Recently, he tackled roles in the dramatic adaptation "Being Julia" (2004) with Annette Bening, the Heath Ledger dramatic period piece "Casanova" (2005) and "Silence Becomes You" (2006) with Alicia Silverstone. He also was featured in the TV movies "Dark Avenger" (CBS, 1990-91) and "Battling For Baby" (CBS, 1991-92). Lawson most recently worked on "The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler" (CBS, 2008-09).
