Lester Flatt worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Flatt worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "The Beverly Hillbillies" (CBS, 1962-1971) and "Pete Seeger... A Song and a Stone" (1972) starring Pete Seeger. Flatt also appeared in "Country Night of the Stars II" (NBC, 1977-78), "Dutch" (1991) starring Ed O'Neill and "High Lonesome: The Story of Bluegrass Music" (1993). Flatt's music was most recently featured in "A Prairie Home Companion" (2006). Flatt passed away in May 1979 at the age of 65.
