Mary Patton was a big screen film actress known for powerful performances. Early on, Patton mostly landed roles in various films, including "The Search" (1948) with Montgomery Clift, the adaptation "In Love and War" (1958) with Robert Wagner and "Please Don't Eat the Daisies" (1960). She also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "The Dark at the Top of the Stairs" (1960) with Robert Preston and the Susan Hayward comedy adaptation "The Marriage-Go-Round" (1960). Patton worked in television around the start of her acting career with a role on "Search For Tomorrow" (CBS, 1951-1987). She continued to act in productions like the dramatic adaptation "Rome Adventure" (1962) with Troy Donahue, "The Outsider" (1962) with Tony Curtis and "A Distant Trumpet" (1964) with Troy Donahue. Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Love Boat" (ABC, 1976-77). Patton was additionally credited in "The Astronomer" (PBS, 1990-91)Patton was most recently credited in the Vin Diesel box office smash action film "The Fast and the Furious" (2001). Patton passed away in November 1982 at the age of 68.
