Actor Patrick Durkin was widely known for his presence on the silver screen. Durkin's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the comedy "Carry on Spying" (1964) with Kenneth Williams, the comedy "The Man Who Had Power Over Women" (1970) with Rod Taylor and "Three Days in Szczecin" (1975) with Leslie Sands. He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "The Big Sleep" (1978) with Robert Mitchum. His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the David Soul comedic adventure "The Stick Up" (1978), "Yanks" (1979) and the Harrison Ford box office smash action flick "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (1981). He also appeared in "Lionheart" (1987). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Three Kinds of Heat" (1987) with Robert Ginty and the Adrian Edmondson comedy "The Supergrass" (1988). Most recently, Durkin acted in the dramatic adaptation "Monk Dawson" (1998) with John Michie.
