Sharon Lee Watson

Television writer and producer Sharon Lee Watson has worked on a variety of TV shows and collaborated with everyone from noted playwright David Mamet to "Heroes" creator Tim Kring. She earned her first writing credit on the 2000 update of "The Fugitive," based on the iconic '60s series about a renowned physician wrongfully accused of killing his wife, and soon joined the writing and production staff of Kring's "Crossing Jordan," a drama centered around Boston forensic pathologist Jordan Cavanaugh (Jill Hennessy) and her close-knit team of medical examiners and police detectives. After leaving the highly-rated series in 2004, Watson found work as a writer and producer on "The Unit," created by David Mamet and starring a post-"24" Dennis Haysbert as the leader of a highly-skilled, covert operations group. She produced over 60 episodes of the gritty drama, which, in addition to following the dangerous lives of the Alpha Team members, also examined the effects of their work on their family and friends. Since the show was canceled in 2009, Watson has written and produced multiple episodes of "Lie to Me," about a gifted psychologist (Tim Roth) who aids police investigations with his heightened perceptive abilities.
