Tanika Brown McKelvy was an actress who was familiar with the qualities it takes to bring a drama to the big screen. McKelvy started out as an actress of the small screen, with roles in the series "George Lopez" (ABC, 2001-06) and "Las Vegas" (NBC, 2003-08). She then acted in "House" (2004-2012), "Nora's Hair Salon" (2004) and the James Franco comedic drama "Grasshopper" (2006). More recently, McKelvy acted in "The Good Neighbor Policy" (2009).
