Athletic, gorgeous and charming, Torrie Wilson was both a world-class beauty and a world-class pro wrestler. Born July 24, 1975 in Boise, ID, Victoria Anne Wilson grew up athletic and became an elite-level fitness model who was crowned Miss Galaxy in 1998. She achieved widespread fame, however, in the professional wrestling world as a charismatic valet. Originally starting out in World Championship Wrestling (WCW), she became a World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Diva, the company's female superstar brand. Her athleticism came in handy when she began actually wrestling, and she impressed many fans with her gymnastic and grappling ability, becoming so popular that she earned the cover of Playboy. It was a testament to Wilson's innate likability that she counted both male and female fans among her followers, who appreciated both her alluring and athletic sides. She appeared as one of the WWE Divas who tasked contestants with creating new in-ring fashion for them in an especially fun episode of "Project Runway" (Bravo, 2004-08; Lifetime, 2009- ) and came in a close second to Lou Diamond Phillips on the second season of the reality competition "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!" (ABC, 2003; NBC, 2009). Married for several years to fellow wrestler Peter Gruner (a.k.a. Billy Kidman), Wilson was later romantically linked to pro baseball player Alex Rodriguez and counted fellow former Diva Stacey Keibler, herself romantically linked to George Clooney, as her best friend.
