Glory K @Ms.Glory Feb 24 Underrated by an audience that can not accept the various notes of grief, the self-destructive tendencies within marriage and long term relationships, and the contradictory impulses within us all. In the end this flick is about seeing and being seen, the good, the bad, and the ugly. Watch it without the expectations of Neeson in his "Taken" persona, and let the betrayals, forgivenesses, and compromises unravel before you. Liam's wife is a 304. She telescopes this in every conversation they have - "I love you, but I am sleeping around", to which he replies "I don't understand". Then she dies. Then Liam finds out she was cheating by looking on a folder on her computer called 'love' (uh oh probably should have deleted that). And so Liam decides to go find the cheating lover to kill him and hilarity ensues. And by hilarity, I mean a completely nonsensical ending you can only laugh at. Banderas was in this movie, but one has to ask, why? He was FAR better in that Sponge Bob movie. Um dia Lisa desaparece, e Peter passa a busca-la, nisso encontra um arquivo no computador descobrindo um amante Ralph (Banderas), e começa a nutrir um ódio e desejo de matar. Peter então começa a corresponder por e-mail com Ralph. Ralph sem saber começa a jogar xadrez com Pete, e assim ele vai descobrindo de como ele conheceu Lisa, e como foi o relacionamento deles. O tempo passa até o dia que marca um encontro. Chegando la Ralph ao invés de encontrar com Lisa, encontra Peter e ele revela tudo. E revela que Lisa morreu de câncer. E ao final termina com encontro de despedida de Lisa com a presença de Peter e Abigail. Um filme que a pessoa traída quer saber como tudo ocorreu, para quê? Para tranquilizar seu ego e sua mente. Nota: 5 See more CT 8 @ct8787 Jun 23 So basically it’s a movie about a man (Liam Neeson) who finds out after her death his wife (Laura Linney) was cheating on him. And cheating on him with a loser who’s a janitor (Antonio Banderas) pretending to be a wealthy businessman. And so lacking in morals and character is his wife that she doesn’t even have the decency of telling him about her infidelity while he’s there taking care of her every day through the final stages of her cancer. Neeson then takes it upon himself to pretend to befriend this loser while he’s plots his revenge. Ultimately scrapping those plans and attending a memorial in her honour organized by her lover. You can’t make this stuff up. This might be one of the stupidest, out of touch with reality movies I’ve ever had the misfortune to watch. And that’s saying something. The suspense wasn't much of one, the photos and the repeated scenes from the past were a nuisance, the moments of silence bored more than created stronger emotion for the characters.
