Audience Reviews for Black Widow

Yes, we all know that the title gives us the idea that this movie will be predictable, but it's actually not! Instead of the usual Private Eye man on the case who falls in love with the lady, we get a female agent who is just as crafty as the black widow is. This is a very different and very cool thriller, and I recommend it.

½

"Black Widow" starring Debra Winger, Theresa Russell, Diane Ladd, and Dennis Hopper is a very good mystery/thriller.
Debra Winger is a very talented actress and is very good as the reporter in this film. Winger is the career driven reporter looking into a woman that possibly has married several wealthy men and killed them all for the money....very well done and worth watching.

Pretty dated in looks and it took a while to warm up, likeable, but nothing special

Black Widow Quotes

Bruce: A complex series of seductions and murders? That's just not something you see a woman do.
Alexandra Barnes: Oh, really? What part do you think a woman is not up to? The seduction or the murder?
– Submitted by Gail S (7 months ago)
William Macauley: I put on a bristle here and a bristle there, and turned myself into a porcupine.
Catharine: Well, you know, it's such an old joke... how do two porcupines make love?...Very carefully.
– Submitted by Gail S (8 months ago)
Catharine: I'll tell you two things about me: I'm very rich, and I'm very wealthy.
