Will there ever be a truly fine adaptation of Richard Matheson's novel I Am Legend? For now, this will do, edging out Will Smith's fairly interesting I Am Legend and far outpacing Charlton Heston's terrible The Omega Man.

This is a dull and disjointed movie. It doesn't engage the viewer, except to marvel at how pitiful the movie is. I couldn't finish watching it.😕

This was Vincent Price's worst movie. Extremely slow and nothing was explained or made any sense. The ending was also very abrupt and confusing. Instead of yelling, "wait!" over and over, she could have yelled, "we found the cure." Then her people wouldn't have killed him.

I didn’t realize that The Last Man on Earth was based on the novel "I Am Legend" when I chose to watch it. I’ve actually already seen The Omega Man (1971) and I Am Legend (2007), so this story was familiar to me. Apparently this film is the most accurate adaptation of the book, but that doesn’t mean it’s the best. The plot is interesting, but this film suffers from bad voice dubbing and an achingly slow pace. I also was confused as to why the vampires acted like zombies. So while I enjoyed seeing Vincent Price in a post-apocalyptic horror movie, I don’t know if I’ll watch The Last Man on Earth again.

Didn't realize till reading after that its an 'I Am Legend' adaptation. Doesn't really matter though cause this is pretty dull and uneventful. Cool poster though.
