Stanley (Rob Schneider) is married to the lovely Mindy and has a seven million dollar fortune. When he is arrested for fraud his crooked lawyer Lew Popper (M. Emmet Walsh) negotiates a six month delay before his incarceration begins. During this period, the mild mannered Stan, who is afraid of being raped in prison, (after all a first timer wussy is easy target for the lonely tough guys behind bars) hires the specialist in martial arts David Carradine as The Master to teach him self-defense and help prepare him to avoid the torturous experience by making himself undesirable.

I do enjoy my silly comedies for the simple fact they are completely harmless. This isn't the best film out there and it doesn't pretend to be. The obvious idea of the film is to have a laugh at the expense of everything and everyone. The films shortcomings are strictly from first time director. He clearly lacks consistency and pace but he does have an eye for set pieces. It's a shame these movies don't do as well as Adam sandlers so we get more. The film borders the line of too far to make it a complete joke so it doesn't offend. The film misses with a large amount of jokes and it made me laugh so I can't give it a jack and Jill disappointing all point low. One to watch with the guys as I would highly suggest girls will find very little here

It's a Rob Schneider movie. Sadly that should explain it. It's a kinda sad, predictable movie relying on gay-sex-jokes, over all below-the-belt-humor and the fact that Rob Schneider is in it. It had some funny moments, I'll admit that much. But let's face it, the whole scardey-cat-wuss-guy turns into big-macho-man thanks to an uncontrovential and kinda creepy mentor, well it's been done before. That and the whole ends up in prison which stars an manipulative warden and the guy changes the whole place thing too, The Longest Yard ring any bells? Meh. That's all I have to say really.
