It's now noteworthy as a curio, but when first released it splashed von Stroheim's name onto the international spotlight as a brilliant filmmaker.

Audience Reviews for Blind Husbands

A very good but somewhat stiff film. Von Stroheim plays his usual officer character but the whole story lacks of depth and nuances.

Surprisingly racy for the time. Erich Von Stroheim's directorial debut is a good one. He does excellent. Well acted and an interesting story.
