This movie faces criticism from people because they are unaware of the fact that these types of movie are of Spaghetti Western genre which was mostly used by American-Italian Sergio Leone which made Clint Eastwood what he is today.. THIS is India's version of Spaghetti Western.. This genre include the lead or the protagonist to be witty, humorous, specialized in gun skills and physically and verbally smart.. So if you notice the features of a Spaghetti Western you'll get all in this movie.. Bullet Raja and Dabangg are such types of movies

Dabangg 2 is another senseless movie to the franchise of Dabangg it has nothing to offer other than a few comedy scenes, as the performances are meh, and the story is weak.

Same as its prequel, if not worse.
At least there was a clearer story line this time.

Ever experienced that family tradition, wherein all members get together during festival and order that 'special' dish from that 'special' shop which is patronized by them from years. And when they devour the dish together, the idea of enjoying it together is more important than the taste of the dish itself. Somewhere you desperately want each and every morsel to be 'tasty' and even if some (or most) are not, you don't complain because you don't want to kill the festival or expectations of the clan from the festival. Same is the case with Dabangg 2. Here Chulbul Pandey aka Salman Khan is that 'special' one which everyone has been waiting for, and the masses for whom this character has been created, so utterly want to enjoy it that they are actually enjoying it irrespective of the enjoyment available in bits and pieces in the movie irrespective of the movie in itself not being an enjoyable one. Large section of educated and thinking people who have not actually enjoyed the movie also ultimately have contributed to the box office collection and they cannot make excuses that they purchased the ticket because of exceeding expectation and/or absence of any other movie!

Undoubtedly, Salman currently is the golden boy. TV or movies, whichever media he chooses to play with, he comes across as a winner because of his unbelievable 'connect' with the audience. The movie happens to be a collection of dance and fight sequences, a desperate attempt by Arbaaz to generate 'cetees' of the masses and ensuring that his first directorial venture doesn't fail, especially after the stupendous hit given by Danangg earlier.

Largely a family drama, but there is enough spectacular action to make it worth a watch. The last dance segment is actually pretty good, with a cameo by Kareena Kapoor.

Plot problem; So he'll kill the main villain's brother in front of an entire wedding, but won't kill the main villain in a police station!? But, if he did that, who would push his pregnant wife down the stairs and shoot his brother?

Dabang 2 tries to stick to the entire formula of the predecessor as if not sure what worked and could be improved. As a result, it adds nothing new and falls flat unlike the first one which partly worked for the unique, bold entertainment. With less ups and downs around Salman's family and love story and far inferior songs, the movie would fail to enthuse most fans of such stories even if they do not compare with Dabaang 1.

Just another action drama with bits of comedy forced in that wasn't funny enough. Not the worst of its year, but it wouldn't have gained as much box-office success had it not starred Salman Khan. Kudos to Salman Khan fans for turning a mediocre into a mega hit. Check it out for yourself (apparently, at your own risk) & see if his performance is outstanding enough to make you his fan. On a side-note (not to defend anyone), the script itself is so mediocre that there's hardly any scope for outstanding performance by anyone. It seems that the character formation is not given enough consideration. 1/5 would suffice.

First things first, Dabangg was way better than Dabangg 2.

I'm not a huge Salman Khan fan. Yes, I like him and I liked him better in Dabangg. Dabangg was something fresh. Though it had all those 'typical' action stuff, it was funny, witty and watchable.

Dabangg 2 does not have that dabangg-ness! The songs were not that great at all. Not very pleasing to my ears. It's like they've just been copied and pasted into the movie. Fevicol Se was okay but when Malaika came on the screen, she brought a smile to my face. She's so elegant!

The dialogues in Dabangg were much much better. Here good dialogues and all the funny stuff were few and scattered.

In the end, Dabangg 2 didn't have that punch like Dabangg. May be a one time watch. Those who haven't, just wait for some time. A television premier will be around the corner.

A bad bad Bollywood movie which is not new about Salman Khan films. A rather weak scripted and unfunny sequel to the Blockbuster Dabangg which in itself was not a good film.

Arbaas's depiction of Dabangg sequel is stale. Salman Khan as the super cop is not charming as original. A mindless, out of the park entertainer that lacks solid plot. This is a wooden spoon.
