Judy Berman TIME Magazine Mar 27
Creators Nick Keetch and Ty Freer give their stars plenty more to work with, from the Marvins’ chaotic upbringing to their skeptical reception, as sweaty American hucksters halfway around the globe from home. Go to Full Review
Daniel Fienberg The Hollywood Reporter Mar 12
The two American stars, the reason for Hulu to be giving this one a push, are both very good, using their respective comic personae to humorous effect but not schtick. Go to Full Review

Sunny Nights really gains steam in its last installment, dropping some surprises and setting the stage for a promising new chapter, one with no doubt the same reliable banter but hopefully tighter plotting. Go to Full Review

It’s all good, dark fun, and the cast is uniformly excellent. Forte is in his element, Cardin could power an entire city with her energy. Go to Full Review

Casting old-pro comics like Will Forte and D'Arcy Carden in this oddball crime drama is either a curveball or a stroke of genius, because audiences come for laughs but stay for the bizarro mayhem. Go to Full Review
Joel Keller Decider Mar 12
While not hilarious, Sunny Nights works because of Carden’s performance, the premise’s clash of sensibilities, and its ability to give viewers a glimpse at Sydney’s seedier side. Go to Full Review

Bertha D @RT56900732 Jul 5 It was a fun watch, D'Arcy Caden's character was annoying. Looking forward to season 2. See more prawnda S @RT72497680 Jun 24 it's fine if you can deal with a little bit of hokey content. i consistently dislike megan wilding as i think she's played as a negative stereotype of a sassy and irresponsible/dumb overweight person. the intro theme is a very off key cover of a velvet underground song that just does not need to play every single episode and should have been replaced with a generic instrumental or something. will forte holds it together pretty consistently though. See more Emily C @Maxine507 Jun 22 I thought the trailer looked fun but imo it was just frustrating to watch. See more geoffrey P @RT66024092 May 21 I don't know if giving this five stars was too generous but I think it's a great show and I really really hope that they make a second season I just found this by chance on Hulu I love these Aussie shows I probably got about 7 minutes of the last episode right now for the season 1 I'm hoping there's going to be season 2 cuz they're leaving us hanging and I've been watching it non-stop unfortunately I binge watched it in 2 days 👍👍 See more Jazzmin H. @jazzminbree Apr 21 Big fan of Will and Darcy and is probably the only reason I kept watching. They both delivered great comedic, dramatic performances. Also, the performances from all the Australians and New Zealanders were great as well. Probably will look them up and see what other shows and movies they have been in. However, there’s something lacking in the show. I’m not really sure what it is. Maybe it’s the storyline of a brother and sister starting a tanning business or maybe it’s the typical mob boss shake down that seemed so predictable. It was somewhat entertaining but there’s something missing that would make this show really great in comparison to new dramedy somes that have been coming out. I will most likely continue to watch if there is a second season which they definitely set the show up for another. But I don’t see myself rewatching it.
