This is the first Evil Dead film I’ve ever seen, and it did not disappoint. The way this movie uses the environment and different elements is so unique and cool. The performances from the entire family as deadites are great, and I liked the story here too. It did such a great job at showing an emotional connection between the family as well as a horrific situation, which made for a great combination of the two. I also have to say that this movie is surprisingly funny all the way through, with most of the laughs coming from the grandma in the family. Overall, this was a very sick and twisted horror film that I thought was great (8/10).

Not my favorite E.D. But a brutal entry that touches on some lore and brings new deadite characteristics not seen yet. I enjoyed it, movie has some teeth for sure but also has some problems. The humor was dark and enjoyable. Looking forward to the next one :)
