It's a masterpiece. The villain is incredible, the action is incredible, everything about this movie is great.
I loved the movie, it completed my childhood. The turns and everything was just perfect
One of the best animated movies of all time
Best of the trilogy! And an apsolutely terrific character based story!
Just as good as the first film
An amazing sequel that nails it out of the park! And man, the animation is so good. I wish Dreamworks still made as much films as they used to
Story/Screenplay: (4/5) Sequels can be tough, but this one does OK. Clearly not as great as its predecessor, it succeeds on its own merit.
Duration/Tempo: (3.5/5) At 1 hours and 30 minutes, this is a short movie that felt a little longer, but it's still easy to watch.
Cast & Crew: (4.5/5) Most of the original cast returns in addition to Gary Oldman. Jack Black still stands out.
Summary: (4/5) Fun for children and adults.
This is one of my personal favorite animated movies of all time. The cinematography and lighting really shows the effort gone into making a good movie and enhances the viewing experience. Po finally finds out his true origins in an interesting and very emotional way. The world is expanded beyond the valley and into Gongmen city, a beautiful urban center which makes the fight scenes more complex and interesting. Lord Shen is an extraordinarily compelling villain whose hate has consumed him. He tries to defy destiny because he believes he's the rightful ruler of China. His lack of mercy is a sign that he's serious about conquest of the entire country and that he still has a human fear of Po. The fighting scenes are a cinematic marvel thanks to their stunning visuals and fast pacing. The story progresses at a fine rate and takes the time to incorporate all necessary features. The music is fitting and a nice addition. 9.5/10, the amount of things that are successfully conveyed in only 88 minutes is incredible. It would've been reasonable to give it the oscar instead of Toy Story 3.
Probably the worst of the trilogy but is still very fun and has alot more action.
More action, more laughs, more panda
