Critic Reviews for Lucky Lady

Context is everything: With its mythic production long in the past, Lucky Lady now stands as a highly enjoyable, underappreciated adventure film. Approach with reasonable expectations, and enjoy.

A handsome production...(but the script) apart from the threesome element and a few scattered, funny lines, is generally negligible.

Audience Reviews for Lucky Lady

Liza Minnelli as the Ditzy Master Mind (Claire)of a Boot Legging Operation During Prohibition, okay.Burt Reynolds(Walker) & Gene Hackman(Kibby) as her Partners in Crime, both in love with her.Lots of Silly Chaos with a Rival Bootlegging Gang that they manage to always one up in some humorous & lucky way. They have a Boat named after Claire, the "Lucky Lady", but it's a heap that amazes that it even gets to any destination.A Silly Fun Caper Film, not Academy Awards material, but a fun watch.

I expected to like this movie right from the start since it had Gene Hackman & Burt Reynolds but it was boring beginning to end & I mainly kept it on as background noise while I did other stuff.I guess I should've known it was gonna suck after reading the movie description
