Both actors stay sharp through some pretty degrading moments, and if Palmer and screenwriter Tess Morris are bent on serious button-pushing in the closing scenes, at least they garnish it with playfulness and wit.

I absolutely loved this movie, uplifting, light and romantic. I'd go so far as to say ine of the top 5 rom-coms I've seen. Well worth a watch! Simon Pegg doesn't strike one as a natural romantic love interest but he is amazing in this role.
