Rich L. @turnerfan77 3d Saw IV is more of the same but less engaging. They should have stopped at three. The story is weak and ridiculous even for a Saw movie. Acting not very good. The only positive outside of the traps/gore was seeing flashbacks to Jigsaws past. Hopefully the back half of this franchise gets better. This gives you the feeling that you've just seen a really good movie, but it isn't. It was too boring and too little happened in the story. There weren't any big highlights in the traps either. Even several flashbacks couldn't help. So I think the movie is rather average and one of the worse in the franchise. But it's still a Saw film and in conjunction with the other films, this one also works well. See more Nexus T @RT02867857 Sep 4 THIS REVIEW CONTAIN SPOILERS This is probably the most underrated film in the series, after the death of John Kramer in Saw III, the series knows how to reinvent itself, giving us one of the best installments in the series, great characters, we are introduced to the best detective in the series, Peter Strahm, There are a large number of interesting traps, great prominence of Officer Rigg, and finally we are introduced to a new successor to John Kramer, the best in the series, Mark Hoffman and the final script twist is one of the best in the series.
