...how can you go wrong with Peter Horton as a grizzled ex-volleyball champ?

Howell and Horton are superb in this fun-filled, funny, sexy beach tale. (Expertly-shot volleyball sequences, too.)

Audience Reviews for Side Out

This really isn't a good movie. But it's a fun one. It's an 80s treat that was released in 1990. It stars Peter Horton (relevant tv star at the time) and C. Thomas Howell (desperately clinging to relevancy). It's almost as if someone saw the beach volleyball scene in Top Gun and said, "Let's do that for 2 hours, but with less expensive actors."

Pure 80's indulgence.

For some strange reasons, I like this movie.
