This is a lovely adaptation of Leonard Cohen's semi autobiographical novel. Hebert has been able to capture Cohen's straight up but beautifully expressed language with subtle, tender touches. JR Bourne and Michele-Barbara Pelletier deliver even, engaging performances that help us take the journey leading to The Favourite Game.
