It's a cinematic masterpiece in every aspect. The fact that the storyline is a critique against capitalism only makes it better, but apart from that: great cast, edition, special effects, plot, soundtrack. Its imposible to not get immersed in the plot every time I watch it and it's just incredible. The The Hunger Games saga evolved gracefully with every new release, and the production in these movies just gets ten times better with each of them. Totally recommend to revisit it (or watch if you haven't already)
It is not a sci fi anymore. Love story of a loving idiot girl. Do not see it! Never ever!
Once this series left the arena and had to think a bit more creatively, it lost steam and direction, and the end result leaves viewers unfulfilled.
An action-packed and entertaining conclusion, combined with Lawrence's direction, Craig and Strong's script, the performances of the cast, Howard's score, Willem's cinematography, Bell and Yoshikawa's editing, Messina's production design, Dias and Rosinski's set decoration, Kurt and Bart's costume design, action sequences and visual effects, Mockingjay - Part 2 adapts the second half of its source novel and does it so faithfully!!!
With an experienced direction by Francis Lawrence, a more than exceptional script by Peter Craig and Danny Strong, an unforgettable soundtrack by James Newton Howard, great action scenes, beautiful visual effects and excellent performances by Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth , Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Julianne Moore, Philip Seymour Hoffman (rest in peace), Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland and Sam Claflin, The Hunger Games Saga comes to an end with Mockingjay - Part 2, which concludes this series of films in an exciting and memorable way
would be amaizing with Hight Frame rate 120fps
This movie really fails to deliver, the books were so amazing so it was disappointing to see this adaptation to the big picture.
An incredible film! Special effects are fire!
A very good ending to a beloved franchise in both books and films alike. Susan Collins, the creator can't be given enough credit for giving us all of this world. This is a very nice well earned conclusion. Jennifer Lawrence is superb and breathtaking as the powerhouse that is Katniess Everdeen. All the acting was top notch here along with the writing and cinematography and art direction. James Newton Howard crushes it with another poweful final farewell orchestral tune. This is a top 5 franchise of all-time.
About as strong as the first one. It would be perfect if not for the loose ends in the end of the movie. However, the action is very intense, lots of betrayal, and surprising news. Very good movie.
