Loved the first one. This one was very convoluted and more focused on displaying mundane references from all games rather than focusing on developing meaningful character arcs or even introductions to new characters.

Literally beats the first one in my opinion by a little and that says a lot knowing that the first Super Mario was really good but this one was just awesome from beginning to end very funny and super entertaining

Fun watch with my family and friends. I love getting to bring my kids to a movie they want to see while I still get to enjoy the nostalgia and recognize bits from the older games that I grew up with as well as the newer ones. Fun humor and adventure for a little bit of everyone, especially the gamers in your life.
