Zero compassion for any of the characters in a really disjointed and sad effort at suspense or drama. Fails on every level to engage or make sense of what could possibly and I stress POSSIBLY, have been a good story. A waste. With little redeeming qualities.
It was okay, but that damn ending sucked
Good plot! Did not like the ending.
The Stupidest Movie....
Every film student should see this movie. And do nothing it does. Started off interesting and quickly became insipid. Boring characters, no character development, no story development, and a really lame ending.
Good premise, horribly executed. Generally, in these types of movies, some kind of explanation - even if only a partial one - is provided through the plot and story. In this case, however, nothing is forthcoming, leaving the viewer ever-more frustrated. In the end, there is a clearly religious overtone: one boy and one girl are left. Which is stunningly stupid; you can't rebuild a whole species from only two specimens; insufficient genetic diversity.
Skip it, go with Phantoms. Yo Ben Affleck, you were the bomb in Phantoms!
Waste of time. No conclusion.
Not one of Brad Anderson's finest works but still manages to be a decent supernatural thriller.
Very different and interesting movie.
