Jason A @RT41911887 Dec 8 This just feels so fake. The fact that 99% of what's happening is left out doesn't inspire confidence. One second they're in Scotland, the next second they've somehow magically appeared in Rome running through the streets to find a single house in amongst millions. How could anyone do this? We'll never know. But somehow they do. before the next impossible unrealistic scenario takes place. Things just keep on magically happening and it's impossible to suspend disbelief. It's a competition show but contestants aren't fighting head to head. Challenges have nothing to do with the IP. Rounds end with completely irrelevant trivia. I will watch absolutely anything - this was too boring for me to even have on in the background while washing up. See more DMC M @Dee1957 12/13/2023 I'm not sure why but I'm liking this. I love the scenery for one thing. The Bone brother are hilarious and the challenges are interesting. Not sure why they needed to involve "007" in the title, but I just disregarded that. Brian Cox is so droll, he's great. It's a wonder how the camera man does all that climbing and hiking etc. with a camera when the contestants struggle just to stay on their feet...lol. Questions are difficult as are some tasks. Learning and being entertained at the same time. See more Joe C @JoeCoffee 11/16/2023 I've never watched any of these type shows, but Lucy Mangan's scathing review in the Guardian made me wonder if it could really be that bad. Far from it. The contestants were positive, interesting folks performing some extraordinary tasks. Brian Cox' comments added an arch, menacing air to the proceedings, all in good fun. Perhaps the Guardian should 'terminate' old Lucy and find someone who enjoys watching telly more than she does. See more Carol C @Cazzychaps 11/13/2023 I'm a big Bond fan, so starved of content I devoured this show. The location and cinematography were awesome, the Bond movie tie ins, great. The players were well chosen, but a few things let it down too, such as none of the players seeming to get the Bond references and I think there was a lot of assistance given.
