In "100 Questions", Charlotte Payne (played by Sophie Winkleman ) is a woman in NYC seeking romance through a dating service after not finding Mr. Right on her own. As she answers a 100-question survey each question prompts her to recall events in her life that also include her friends Wayne ( David Walton ), Mike ( Christopher Moynihan ) and Leslie ( Smith Cho ).

As the central character of a character-driven comedy, Charlotte Payne is likeable enough. But she isn't terribly interesting or compelling -- and neither are most of her friends, whose near-constant presence is an essential element to the plot.
