Denise J @RT33501317 11/14/2024 Horrible. Do not waste your time. The old Victorian home was ruined. The paint color was horrible. At the end of this train wreck we didn’t even get to see the completely finished product. Just a couple of rooms. These people wasted money on such crazy things. How about save the beautiful stairs and trim work. I can’t say it enough, do not waste your time. See more mitch T @mitch930 08/24/2024 Found her process of second guessing everything annoying, unprofessional and a waste of money. The finished product ,especially the house color was unremarkable. See more Lisa H @RT08223875 08/13/2024 It takes a brave person to take on such a large scale project and the to do it in a public forum.. all I can say is bravo!!! Loved this show. The hard work love and passion for this project came through loud and clear! Thank you for sharing your journey Bryan and Catherine Williamson❤️ See more Al R @RT77032858 08/11/2024 The couple was naive on costs and very disorganized so it was painful to watch. The worst part for me was the gutting of a 130 year old house instead of restoring and barely returning any of the history back. The reason people would want to stay at the hotel would be to see the history and uniqueness, with it being new you might as well stay at a chain. See more David F @dfulmer 08/03/2024 This series shows a couple who buy a bed and breakfast in Columbus Ohio and take it down to the studs and modernize it. The show has very high production values and shows all sorts of renovation work like floors, walls, windows. and historic old doors being incorporated into the final project. It seemed realistic and believable, but I don’t have much experience with renovating buildings. The couple doing the work talk candidly about their expectations, the prices of things, and what they feel they can do themselves as woodworkers and designers. It was an entertaining show about refurbishing a bid old Victorian building in Ohio. See more Dancing S @RT38284233 07/26/2024 A lot of this series is how NOT to do a big project. So many expensive surprises that it seems a thorough inspection was not done prior to starting. Also, the list of (again, expensive) jobs to bring the structure up to code for a commercial building make it questionable as to whether they did any homework before buying. Lastly, the lack of a cohesive design going in made this fairly cringe worthy. Their intentions were big, but watching them try to get there was frustrating. See more Read all reviews
