In the year 2022, the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac lives in Dubai and seeks to tell the story of his life or afterlife to renowned journalist Daniel Molloy. Beginning in early 20th-century New Orleans, Louis' story follows his relationship with the vampire Lestat du Lioncourt and their formed family, including teen fledgling Claudia. Together, the vampire family endures immortality in New Orleans and beyond. As the interview continues in Dubai, Molloy discovers the truths beneath Louis' story.

Incredible, perfect. The show I’ve always been waiting for. The actors are incredible and so committed. The atmosphere, the costumes, the script, everything is amazing. Anne Rice’s universe and spirit are truly respected. All of the actors are fantastic, but oh my God, Sam Reid is just so talented and captivating. I love the unapologetic tone of the series. It’s both politically incorrect and "woke" at the same time. They’re not afraid to bring queer identity to the screen, and they’re doing it brilliantly.

IWTV has everything you could possibly want from a TV show. You could not get any better TV than this. The writing, the acting, the sets, the music, the stories. It is all phenomenal. Beautifully shot from the opening scene to the season finale. A must watch.
