After a 40-year armistice in the war between the Twelve Colonies and the Cylons, the latter group launches a surprise attack with a goal of exterminating the human race, wiping out virtually everyone in the Twelve Colonies. Malware placed in the Colonial military's computer network renders most of the network ineffective or destroyed -- except for Battlestar Galactica, a space battleship that fought in the earlier war. Because it's older computer systems are not networked, the ship is not affected by the malware attack and it becomes the lead in the new battle with the Cylons.

But there were several moments I thought the acting was not written well enough. Below I point out 2 of the few moments, I thought were bad.... Spoiler ahead: Battlestar gallectica, Season 2, watched a few more episodes. Sometimes the actions of people do not correspondent to their job or occupation. Examples: a soldier who gets shot with 2 or more salvos of gunfire keeps standing. Joke right? A soldier will, should take action if he is being shot. A 2nd in command guy of the president without gun experience gets a gun to shoot cylons while there are not enough explosive bullets. And he almost caused the death of several people. The son of Adama does not question if it is right to give a gun to a person??? A gun in the wrong hands can kill own people as easy. See more Read all reviews
