Matthew Raymond C Oct 10 Children born in the 2010s may have little to no vague memory of the Nickelodeon series the 25 KAPR-TV even though it was part of their viewing television years it was a smaller group it was part of aestheticated group rather than the large population who may have missed it entirely due to unfavorable Network timing and a brief television run and limited exposure and it's short relatively subscure run from May 5th 2017 to June 10th 2017 the show may have air during a bad time for CGI and 3D animation meaning that 3D shows that aired around the same time didn't receive widespread recognition or significant exposure as others not only for the company but also for the fans and lack of major promotional push short production run this show was canceled after a single season with just 25 half hour and two episodes it aired very quickly over a short period of time first premiering and finished in a lesser known region called Latin America over about a month from May 5th 2017 to June 10th 2017 and the fourth season ended its run on Paramount Plus in June 2020 the limited run time gave it little time to build a following aunt enter the larger cultural conversation limited broadcasting exposure as a Latin American cartoon it's primary airing was on Nickelodeon it was later shown on Disney XD in the US but still didn't gain significant traction many of the most well remembered animated series of the era were blocked by much larger international broadcast networks like cartoon Network which generally has much larger budgets and broader reach in the mid to late 2010s there were a flood of animated kids shows competing for attention on television and new streaming services the show's time slot may have changed from late at night too early morning hours because of the show's inappropriate and irrelevant nature with characters cussing meant it was a show built for comedy Central rather than the main kids Network Nickelodeon which has decreases visibility the 25 KAPR-TV one of many choices for young children and it failed to substinguish itself through to stand down in a crowded market and stick in the public's memory well there was a dedicated reception from those who saw it there wasn't a strong viral or word of mouth element that that propelled it beyond its initial niche audience See more Read all reviews
