Singer Chris Isaak stars in this sitcom that is a fictionalized version of his life. A mixture of actors and real members of Isaak's band, Silvertone, also star in the show, an irreverent look at the outrageous backstage world of rock music. The series follows Chris in the studio, on the road and on his surfboard as he tries to live a normal life despite his fame. Aside from Chris and his bandmates, other characters in the show include Isaak's manager, Yola, and Mona, a sorta-mermaid (who lacks a tail) who lies nude on a revolving bed in the basement of a club Chris frequents.
