The third episode of HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm features a hilarious guest appearance by Bob Odenkirk of HBO's Mr. Show. The trouble begins for Larry (Larry David) on the driving range. The golfer next to him drops a ball, which rolls close to Larry, but Larry, seeing that the man's cowboy hat is tied on with a string, refuses to pick the ball up. "I see certain items," Larry explains to Cheryl (Cheryl Hines) later, "and I recoil in horror." Larry then tries to call his agent, Jeff (Jeff Garlin), who is in the hospital for a bypass, but accidentally dials Gil Odenkirk, the former porn star who runs the golf club. Gil invites Larry and Cheryl to a party, and Larry feels pressured into accepting. Later, Jeff asks Larry to go to his house, and remove his hidden porn collection, so his wife won't find it while he is laid up. Larry reluctantly agrees. "What if I get into an accident on the way home," he frets, "and there's porn strewn all over the car, all over my bleeding body?" That weekend, Larry and Cheryl drive to the party, but Gil lives out in the boondocks, he's given them lousy directions, and Larry can't figure out how to use the car's fancy navigation system. A desperate Larry flags down a passing car to get directions, only to see a painfully familiar face -- and hat -- behind the wheel. Things don't get much better when they finally do arrive at Gil's house.
