"Dance Academy" is a drama series that follows small-town teenager Tara Webster as she pursues her dream of becoming a ballet dancer at the National Academy of Dance. Tara and her fellow students push themselves as relationships grow while the teens live with one another in the school's boarding house. Each student discovers his or her own path while navigating the minefield that is elite dance training, coupled with the usual challenges that come with being a teenager. But despite all the work they put in, the dancers aren't guaranteed to achieve their goals -- some hopefuls get cut at the end of the year.
