When someone thinks of the American automotive industry, the first city that comes to his or her mind should be Detroit -- it's called the Motor City for a reason. Adam Genei and his team at Mobsteel, a car-customization shop, look to mix the city's celebrated past with its future as they work on creating custom rides "to die for," according to the company's motto. The team -- which includes Pam, Adam's wife and co-owner -- takes advantage of Detroit's rich automotive history, even if it includes finding hidden treasures in a garage, junkyard or a collection. From classic cars that harken back to the city's automotive roots to muscle cars in need of a rebirth, the team is up for any challenge -- even if it means making a part that it can't find. In the end, each project results in a one-of-a-kind vehicle that makes its owner the envy of car enthusiasts in Detroit and beyond.
