The return of fan-favorite aliens the Zygons would have been enough to get most viewers' hopes up, but when you throw in UNIT, a seemingly-resurrected Osgood and another appearance of the Doctor's electric guitar, you've got a classic in your hands.

It's a story in which the "status quo" is really, really weird -even though it ostensibly takes place in present-day Earth. And it's hard to tell what exactly would constitute a happy resolution of this situation.
