This is the point at which I usually gripe about all the things in the episode that didn't really make a whole lot of sense... But for me these strange quirks actually added to the interesting weirdness of the episode.

"The Zygon Invasion" is methodical in how it paces the setup for next week's story... But no matter, because there are still plenty of some standout scenes here, in particular Hitchley's standoff with his mother in front of the church.
