Each installment of History of Horror felt like I was sitting down with a bunch of old friends, nerding out about horror movies - and it was magical.

A fantastic documentary whose main fault is that it forgot to discuss the genre beyond the U.S. [Full Review in Spanish]

Eli Roth's History of Horror is unlikely to tell die-hard horror fans anything they didn't already know, but seeing an all-star ensemble of talented performers and creators talk so lovingly about scary movies is worth the time alone.

Eli Roth is a one-note Torture-Porn HACK who clearly, as his body of work demonstrates, has no clear idea of what goes into making a true Scary, Creepy Horror Film. I don't have any idea Why AMC would choose this particular "Director" to helm a Documentary of this kind.....maybe the Decision makers were hanging out w/ H.B. the week they decided to pull this particular trigger.

An entertaining piece conducted by Roth, especially for the biggest of horror fans.
