MaB T @RT15224377 03/18/2024 As a “Destination Unknown” fan, I thought I would try this show out. I watched a few episodes and decided not to waste any more of my time. This show’s episodes cover all of the “classic” myths and monsters like Bigfoot, ghosts, UFOs, and the like. Josh Gates makes a few appearances throughout each episode, but he wisely keeps his distance! The two “investigators” are Jessica and Phil. Phil is the so-called “skeptic”, while Jessica seems to believe every myth and paranormal explanation for anything and everything encountered during their investigations! This format of having one skeptic and one “true believer” has been used over and over on many paranormal/myth focused series and this format has made this show and others become boring and predictable since the unproven sensational claims of the “true believer” always wins in the end despite lack of proof.
