“The Past” is a heavy hour of television, but in all honesty, Fallout was probably due for one.

Though “The Past” struggles a bit to find the connective tissue between these three stories, the final act does a solid job tying them all together, to make a patchwork filler episode feel a bit more than the sum of its assembled parts.
