Other than Lee Pace and the occasional poise from Jared Harris the acting is really poor; not sure if its the casting or the writing that's the main reason but if you manage to make it to Season 2 you'll be wishing for the death of most of the main characters. Everything else, however, has gone from mediocre to flat-out awful. The writing is messy, the story continues to butcher Isaac Asimov’s brilliant source material, and the lead female’s acting remains unconvincing. While the budget is clearly on the screen, no amount of pretty CGI can save the weak casting and hollow dialogue. Unless you’re a die-hard Pace fan, this is a skip. The pacing of the storytelling has been dramatically fixed compared to the first season and is so much more engaging while also enhancing character development and the world building. Lee Pace's depiction for his character is incredible for the diversity needed while Jared Harris also shows off his chops and depth. The entire cast is incredible and came to play. Definitely worth the watch. The storyline aswell as the direction both combined to create an experience that is unforgettable. I loved the setting and creative direction of the season, definately worth the 2 year wait.
