Micki Foster is the lucky niece who inherits an antique store from her Uncle Lewis. But this is no ordinary antique shop. Lewis made a deal with the devil -- in exchange for material wealth, he will sell cursed antiques. Micki, along with cousin Ryan and her partner, retired magician Jack, have the duty of recovering the antiques to be sealed in their basement, where the items can't cause more harm.

Josh A @RT94970263 Apr 8 I'd say it's better than Season 1, but by a fractional amount. It's still quite average, it just tries harder to be scary and feels more interesting. Let's get right into it. The vibe is interesting with this season. It feels more gothic and feels mysterious, more like the vibe the finale had. It fits, with a lot of greens being present in a lot of scenes. It makes it stand out, which I like. Also the stories are more interesting, like the one with the ballerinas. The main issue is the finale. It just isn't as memorable as the Season 1 finale. It's just some witches with a ladder who get destroyed by a lightning bolt. There's not much I can say about it, I just hope the Season 3 finale is better. It may even be better than Season 1's, who knows. Overall, it's better than Season 1, but not by much. See more Darin P @RT82876595 08/02/2023 Just got the whole series finally. Quality writing and above average production values. Combined I would say a top five horror TV show. Plus Robey and a super nice Mercedes. See more 11/13/2020 Micki, Ryan, and Jack continue searching for cursed antiques into a second season of Friday the 13th: The Series. This season the objects have more of a historical connection, John Wilkes Booth's makeup case, King Louis XVI's handkerchief, Jack the Ripper's syringe, and they do a follow-up episode to an object that got away last season. Also, the show is sexed up a bit, with Micki and Ryan having several torrid affairs and one-night stands (often resulting in death per Friday the 13th rules). Additionally, the backstories of the main characters are explored more and a new recurring character is introduced who helps recover items. Plus, several interesting guest stars are featuring, including popstar sensation Vanity. Still, some of the curses are overly convoluted and the continuity in some of the episodes is pretty loose. Yet while it has its ups and downs, Friday the 13th: The Series delivers a solid second season. See more Read all reviews
